It's early on, and if you have panels or events you'd like to see at SoonerCon, now is the time to provide us here in ProgrammingLand your feedback and suggestions. We try and provide a wide variety of discussions and activities for folks to enjoy; here are some of the tracks suggested so far:

Writing     Media     Comics     Art     Pop/Alt Culture

Fannish     Costuming     Space/Tech     Filk     Lit

Anime     Gaming

Besides discussions and panels on specific topics within these areas, there will be special events both evenings, and interspersed throughout the weekend. We are also setting up a series of workshops. And again, your input is welcome and encouraged!

Well, I have one idea, last time we had a model contest, I know it was lightly entered, but I think it was understated that there was one.  I love to show off my models and I know others who like to also.  If we have one at Soonercon, I think that if it is showcased like a regular panel is it could have a good turnout.

Just my thoughts on some activities.

Thanks.

If you're planning on segmenting the various panels by track, perhaps you could change the wording to relate to shipboard terms

Main Deck - Standard SF oriented

Quarterdeck - the grand Hall events,  Main Guest panels

Promenade Deck - Costuming

Foresail, Mainsail, Topsail - Media, Film rooms

Sail Locker - Filking

Berthing - SinnerCon?

and other ways to "nauticalize" the con...
Bridge - Con Office
Fo'c's'le - Security
Galley - ConSuite
Stern - GreenRoom
Ship's Hold - Dealer's Room
