"Discworld" by Terry Pratchett. This series is at 30+ books and I can think of only one, maybe two of the books that I didn't enjoy enough to re-read many times. It's laugh out loud fantasy. However, I would put good ol' J.R.R. Tolkien's books at a razor-thin 2nd place.

I regularly re-read these books. I especially like the ones built around the city-watch of Aank Morpock (sp?). I also enjoy the various Rincewind books. Not as big a fan of some of the other books, but they're still good.
My first discworld book was "Guards! Guards!" so I'm a bit tainted there though.
Have you heard about "The Colour of Magic" being made as a miniseries on BBC?
