SoonerCon, and other conventions like us, is built on the strength of our tremendous volunteers! From helping people register, to security, guest relations, and more, all these jobs are filled by hard working volunteers like you!

Volunteering at SoonerCon is a great way to get involved in the local fan community, and to make new friends and meet new people!

What do you get for Volunteering?
a) Volunteers will be able to purchase their memberships for the early bird price of $25, either in advance of the show, or at the show.
b) Volunteers who work at least 12 hours will receive free SoonerCon t-shirts.
c) Additionally, volunteers who work their 12 hour minimum will receive free roll-over memberships to SoonerCon 2009.

SoonerCon Volunteer Rules

All volunteers must be at least 16.
The best attempt will be made to place volunteers per their requests.  However, volunteer placement is at the discretion of the Volunteer Coordinator.
Volunteers must be respectful to all con attendees, and abide by all convention rules.
Volunteers will not be allowed to drink alcohol while on duty.
Volunteers who fail to follow these rules, or to perform their assigned duties will be dismissed from service, and will be ineligible for all volunteer benefits and future volunteering opportunities.
