SoonerCon is proud to announce a special writing/recipe contest by Yard Dog Press in celebration of their 15th Anniversary!

Rules:
1. Whatever food that's brought must be something that can be made easily at the con and will not need to be plugged in during the actual event and has to be 100% safe for human consumption.
2. Dishes should include one or more of the stable BOTA food items, moon pies, Twinkies, jerky, slim jims, spam, Velveeta, basically anything that you would be able to find in a super market and still eat it after a some holocaust.
3. Each writing entry must start with a recipe listing all the items in their dish and how to make it and then a story telling how your dish came to be.
4. Entrants must mount their writing entry on a free standing easel of some type can be anything that will hold the piece upright by their dish so that it can be read.
5. Make two copies of your ONE page recipe and story. One will not be mounted and will have your name on it the one that is mounted will not have your name on it so that the voting will be fair and not just a popularity contest. The other copy will be signed by the author -and your name should be printed on it so that it can be read.
6. Anyone wishing to enter must show up at the YDP table in the dealers room before it closes and hand Lynn your signed copy of your ONE page story. Show up at 8:30 in the Atrium (Party will start at 9:00) to set up and check in with Lynn. Entries will be given a number and the fans will vote by putting a number on a piece of paper and sticking it into one of two slotted cans.

They will be voting in two categories Best dish and best story.

The winner for the best dish will get the one and only Second edition Bubbas of the Apocalypse cook book which will be bound on sight from the entries.

The winner of the writing contest will win a contract for a chap book published by Yard Dog Press.
